It may sound unusual at first, but anyone who has spent years working with waterjet technology knows exactly what this means.
A waterjet CNC system is fundamentally different from bridge saws, plasma cutters, laser machines, or conventional 3-axis CNC equipment. Operating a waterjet machine is not simply about loading a program and pressing the start button. It requires understanding the entire system.
The Operator Is the Most Important Part of the System
When a company invests in a waterjet machine, it selects a 5-axis waterjet system that matches its production requirements.
The high-pressure pump may come from Manufacturer X.
The CNC machine from Manufacturer Y.
The cutting head, abrasive delivery system, and control unit may all come from different manufacturers.
